Meet the Alumni – Simon Cocking

Simon Cocking (MA Project Management, 1994) is Chief Editor at Irish Tech News

Whilst organising an alumni dinner in Dublin we crossed LinkedIn paths with Simon Cocking, (MA Project Management, 1994) and we asked what he had been up to during the last 25 years.

Quite a lot it seems.

Simon has been busy at the forefront of tech currency and innovation, a TEDx speaker and business mentor. I asked Simon what it was about Bradford that he enjoyed and remembered, he said:

‘It was great to get to know Yorkshire and that part of England after several years living overseas. The people in Bradford and on the course were warm, friendly and diverse from all over the world. The Asian food was also awesome too and really reasonable too. I also founded the Bradford Ultimate frisbee team, so it’s also pretty cool to see that it still exists 26 years later too! It’s a great place to study, to learn both about the local area and the world too. I had a great time there and never looked back afterwards’

We are so proud to have been part of Simon’s continuing journey, and thank him for  the incredible Bradford Ultimate Frisbee Team!
