We’re all coming to terms with life being considerably different to how it was just a couple of weeks ago, but we just wanted to keep you up to date with what we’re doing and how we can continue to help you…
Our appointments are still available!
Yes, through the wonders of modern technology we are continuing our services remotely, which means our career consultants, employability advisers and international opportunities team are sat at home ready and able to offer information, advice and guidance via email, phone and Skype. So if you’re worried about anything to do with your career in the current climate, want your CV checking, thinking about study abroad or anything in between, book an appointment with us – we’re here every weekday.

Plus, we’ve got loads of great online resources
There is a wealth of useful info, written and curated especially for University of Bradford students and grads on our website, including great places to find jobs, the application and interview process, developing your skills, student and alumni stories and more.
On top of this, there’s our interactive resource Build My Career which has videos, audio clips and interactive exercises on a huge range of careers subjects.

We’ve also got a dedicated Psychometric Tests portal Graduates First, which allows you to practise every conceivable kind of selection test you may come up against.
Keep applying for internships and graduate jobs
Plans are changing at a rapid pace at the moment, but as it stands recruitment for the summer and beyond is still going ahead for most employers, even if the interview and selection process may be handled differently, such as online assessments and Skype interviews for example. So the message is keep applying for opportunities, or you may miss out (and don’t forget to check our facebook page every Tuesday for our picks of the week).
Keep an eye on twitter for jobs and volunteering locally
Recruitment for temporary and voluntary roles is moving quickly, so to keep up we are sharing local opportunities on our twitter page as soon as we find them. Keep an eye on our feed for roles in retail, healthcare, community and more…
And please feel free to get in touch with us if you need help with anything careers-related.
