Every year, we invite the international exchange students to enter our photo competition all about their time in Bradford. Each entrant is also asked to write a short testimonial to accompany their photos and reflect on their experiences.

Fai is on an exchange from Mutah University in Jordan, and wins first prize of £100. Here’s an excerpt from her testimonial:
I went through Cloud surfing, Dragon boat, canoeing, rambling, and many activities, also I have visited more than 20 different towns, cities and still looking forward to more exploring. The diversity in the communities that I saw let me feel great. Consequently, I am now the new version of myself, more independent in my choices, more considerate to different circumstances before deciding, and more responsible.
Second place – Dana Ibrahim

Dana is from Al Hussein Technical University in Jordan and wins £75 for second place.
Third place – Anastasia Gavristova

Ehab attends the University of Jordan and wins 4th prize of £25.
