We have all been very shocked to hear the terrible news of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan and surrounding countries and our thoughts are with all who have been affected, directly and indirectly, by this devastating disaster.

If you feel we can help you in any way, we will do everything we can to do so.

Help for staff or students currently in Japan or other affected areas

If any staff or students are directly affected by the earthquake or Tsunami, assistance and medical advice can be obtained swiftly through the emergency helpline provided by the University travel insurer. Details:

Staff travelling to Japan on University business

Anyone planning to travel to Japan on University business in the near future should check the foreign office website before travelling to confirm there are no travel restrictions. For any further advice please contact the University Insurance office on 01274 233133 or 01274 233061.
