Last week gallery II joined forces with the lovely Shelley from UBU (ethics and welfare) for a carnival event, which included the first painting session for the student mural piece which will eventually live in the atrium area of the student central building.
I must say that workshop leader and painter par excellance, Lou Sumray and I were heartily impressed with the talent and flair of the people taking part. We really want to do this again and look forward to seeing the first section going up. The work was so fabulous that we have decided we need to paint some plain colours in between each piece to show off the gorgeousness of the paintings.
