Bradford Dementia Group has introduced an innovative short course ‘Developing Leadership in Person-Centred Care’. The course is aimed at experienced practitioners, current and aspiring leaders, and managers working in dementia care and relative fields.

The course will appeal to organisations wishing to deliver improvements in the quality of person centred care. As part of this four day course, participants are supported to develop a comprehensive action plan to deliver improvements in the quality of person centred care in their own workplace, by reflecting on individual, team and organisational leadership styles.

Paul Edwards, Head of Practice Development said: “I am delighted to see this programme being offered by the Group. If we are truly to improve our care settings then we need to create strong effective leaders who can respond to the challenges they face in the real world. It is creating leaders in the field that will really drive forward improvements in our care settings”
