Look North’s new set

Local viewers may have noticed the Yorkshire edition of Look North has a new set, fitted a couple of weeks ago in early December. This is the first major change of set to the program since the BBC moved from their old site adjacent to the universities in Leeds back in 2005, and follows a similar design to that found on the national news set and that of the Hull / Linconshire version of Look North. Following negiotaions with the BBC, the University of Bradford was able to purchase the old set for use in our own TV studio, used as part of teaching with the Bradford Media School. Myself and collegues from SCIM spent the day over at BBC Yorkshire helping to dismantle and bring the equipment back to Bradford. Here’s a few photos from the day.
