The 1st of February saw The University of Bradford helping out at Titus Salt School as part of their Personal Development day.
Jon Purdy introduced students to the maths in computer games and James helped students build gravity racers.
The gravity racing saw teams competing in distance and safety challenges. Teams were given a budget to buy the parts of their racers. Once built teams cound test their cars to see how well they performed. Texas Instuments kindly lent us a set of their data loggers to allow us to test and improve the gravity racers by measuring their velocity, accelleration and distance travelled during test drives. Final touches were then made to the racer before the final at the end of the day.
