Thornton Grammar School STEM Club for Girls

This year, Thornton Grammar School and the STEM team have collaborated to offer a weekly after-school STEM club. Designed to combat the gender stereotyping of STEM subjects as masculine domains, the club offers activities ranging from making motors to making bath bombs and from making perfume to studying renewable energy, which have interested the girls taking part this year.

This project will be monitored for its success rate and may be rolled out to other schools.
