IWMW is back!
It’s coming up to one of our favourite times of the year. Ducklings, ice cream and beer gardens aside, it is almost time for IWMW 2015 – the time when Webby Types from across the UK, and beyond, get to leave their desks and head to far away lands (Liverpool) to share, network, learn from, moan to, socialise with, and generally pick the brains of each other for a few days.
IWMW has been going for 18 years (which makes me feel old as I have been to most of them!) and is a thriving community of web experts and professionals, largely based in HE. I have run workshops at a number of events, as has Paddy, and this year will be no exception. We are pleased, nay proud, to be running one of the Masterclasses and I will be running a session on iBeacons and the University of Bradford’s activities around deploying them at recruitment events.
